外媒質(zhì)疑中國舉措沒人權(quán)？英國學(xué)者約翰·羅斯這樣說

　　求幫助：要多與中國交流，咨詢建議

　　羅斯認(rèn)為，在這一關(guān)鍵時(shí)期，不應(yīng)帶有政治目的去批判中國，反而應(yīng)該多向中國學(xué)習(xí)。我不是在批評任何人，因?yàn)楝F(xiàn)在形勢不容樂觀，不是進(jìn)行政治性批判或攻擊任何人的時(shí)候。我只想讓這些國家學(xué)習(xí)中國，而不是像西方媒體那樣批評中國，他們應(yīng)該積極同中國交流，向中國咨詢建議。I‘m not saying this to criticize anybody， because the situation is much too serious to engage in sort of political or other types of attacking of people。 What I want them to do is I want them to study China instead of the criticism which is appearing in western press。 They should be desperately in contact with China， asking them for advice。

　　羅斯表示，中國制造業(yè)完備，可以給其他醫(yī)療設(shè)備短缺的國家提供幫助，因此，他誠摯地建議各國與中國多交流，多咨詢。中國擁有世界上最大的制造業(yè)，他們可以幫助其他國家解決醫(yī)療設(shè)備短缺的問題。所以無論怎么說，他們都應(yīng)該同中國交流，咨詢可行的建議，請求切實(shí)可行的幫助。這是我想強(qiáng)調(diào)的一點(diǎn)�，F(xiàn)在西方的情況甚至比中國最糟的時(shí)候還要糟糕多了。China is also by far the biggest manufacturing country in the world。 They can help enormously with the supplies of medical equipment。 So in every sense， they should be in contact and asking for every possible advice， every possible practical help from China。 That‘s what I want to stress。 Really the situation in the West is much worse than the situation that was even at the worst time of China。

　　最后，在回應(yīng)記者關(guān)于外界評判中國措施過于嚴(yán)苛的問題時(shí)，他說了一句大實(shí)話：質(zhì)疑中國的人權(quán)?“要我說，中國的人權(quán)就是讓人活下來!”說中國(抗疫措施)太過嚴(yán)苛是無稽之談。有人曾反駁我說，那中國的人權(quán)紀(jì)錄呢?我回應(yīng)說，中國的人權(quán)就是讓人們活下來。The stuff on draconian is nonsense。 I mean， somebody said to me on an exchange， what about China‘s human rights record? And I said China’s human rights record is keeping people alive。

　　同時(shí)，他再次強(qiáng)調(diào)，一定要嚴(yán)肅對待現(xiàn)狀，最關(guān)鍵的是救人!我們得非常非常嚴(yán)肅地對待目前的情況。政府必須采取所謂的嚴(yán)苛的做法，否則無法成功阻止疫情蔓延。這就是病毒現(xiàn)在繼續(xù)在西歐和美國迅速傳播的原因。And therefore this is much， much too seriously。 The government is going to have to take what would be called draconian， otherwise they won‘t succeed in getting on top of it。 That’s why it‘s continuing to spread extremely rapidly in western Europe and the United States。

　　政府得采取措施去救命!而且人們也希望(政府)采取恰當(dāng)?shù)拇胧�，否則病毒不會(huì)停止傳播。They will be forced to save people‘s lives， and people are demanding that the adequate measures are taken， otherwise the virus will not stop spreading。
